Fishing

We went fishing on the Rappahannock River two days in a row. We caught croaker, catfish, toad fish and spot. We kept a few croaker, but released the others.

Georgia Trip

Every time we go to Georgia, Lyle has some new toy for Devin to try. This time it was a unicycle. Devin was able to finally go about 3 feet on it before toppling over. Given time, maybe he could master it.

The boys took Veronica fishing for her very first time ever.

Kevin & Robin

A miniature Abe Lincoln showed up at our house for lunch. We all got a chuckle out of Alayna. The Lee family had just come from Ford's Theatre.

Long Board

Derrik's knee is finally progressed to the point that he can get on a board. He bought himself a long board to roll around the driveway.

Sand Box

Grandpa Farley and the boys constructed a sand box for some summer fun. The boys had been wanting one in our yard ever since we moved here eight years ago. I'm not sure what took us so long, but they're having fun with it.

Crabs

We did a belated Father's Day celebration with Farley after we returned home from the west coast. We got a bushel of crabs from Dwayne's secretary at work.

Independence Day

We couldn't watch the fireworks at the usual park, so we had to head elsewhere. Because of the trees, we could only see a portion of the display.

Farley & Margaret Ann had a potluck at their house. Here the boys are having a card game.

Now they've moved on to a game of corn hole.
