Easter

We went to Darrell & Kay's for Easter dinner. Then the guys had fun hiding eggs for the kids to find.

Ringling Brothers Circus

The strong men at the circus were amazing. Here one had a telephone pole across his shoulders with a lady on a swing at each end.

The tightrope walker jumped over three people and continued his trek across the wire.

That is a lot of tigers to tangle with all at once.

Hiking Old Rag Mountain

This is a strenuous four hour hike, but also fun & beautiful. The last time Dwayne & I hiked it, I was six months pregnant with Derrik. We were wondering on this trip how a pregnant woman made it up the mountain. Devin does the hike almost every fall with some friends from school. This was what Devin chose to do for his fun day over spring break. The other days were not so fun, with wisdom teeth extractions and other doctor's appointments.

For awhile there is actually a visible trail. Then you start climbing rocks and look for the painted arrows to keep you on course.

Carla's 45th Birthday

I got a new bedding set for my birthday. I liked the selection made for me!


Kay got me a watch with purses on it. How appropriate.

Devin made a delicious lemon berry trifle and bought me a box of Chicken Biskit crackiers, which are favorites of mine.

Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC

The cherry blossoms were in full bloom during Dwayne's time in DC at George Washington University. He got a chance to take a few pictures one day, but was pretty busy most of the time.
