Dwayne & Kurt did a two day kayak trip on the Rappahannock River. We have pictures of the river and Kurt, but none of Dwayne.

Miche Conference
The Miche Conference was an all day event. I got to see much of the upcoming product and ideas. It was also fun to meet the various people from corporate. Jenni Platt is the designer.
This is my distributor Kate and her husband Ben.
I am standing beside Corbin Church, who is the CEO of Miche Bag. In front of us are two of my table mates, a rep from Ashland and her husband.
This is Jayma, the VP and namesake for the gorgeous giraffe print with red bottom Miche shell.

Devin's 17th Birthday
We had the family and Barry over for Devin's birthday dinner. Barry is here often enough that he certainly could claim to be Devin's older brother.
Devin got a pellet gun and a real gun. It didn't take him long to run outside and try out the pellet gun.
Devin made some mango icecream for his birthday dessert, but the texture didn't turn out right considering we couldn't find pureed mango and tried to make our own using frozen mango in a food processor.
Everyone loved the Thai noodles with peanut sauce, but Barry & Auntie Frances thought it was a bit spicy.

Towing Experience
My poor Yukon had to get towed home from Richmond when we went down for a funeral. It had been in for a wheel bearing issue and the cotter pin must not have been replaced because the tie rod came off in the parking lot when we stopped for lunch on our return. We had three passengers with us and one had AAA. The tow truck was spacious enough for all of us to ride back up the road in it. It was an experience!
