Carova Beach

We enjoyed restful, relaxing days on the beach in the Outer Banks of North Carolina for an entire week. Our family of four, plus Rocky, Gina, Farley, Margaret Ann, Brandy & Corbin all stayed together in a four bedroom house.

Derrik's Car

Derrik is the proud owner of a 2004 Honda Accord EX in charcoal gray. It looks kind of blue in the picture.

Snails

Someone on freecycle was giving away baby snails. For some dumb reason I decided to go get ONE. It didn't take long for me to have hundreds. See them? When I tried to dump them in the creek and rinse the roots of the peace lily, all I unwittingly managed to do, was add mosquito larvae to my science project.

Independence Weekend

Farley & Margaret Ann had a potluck at their place. Darrell & Farley cooked LOTS of hotdogs and hamburgers.

The boys played football most of the afternoon.

The kids played cards while waiting for the fireworks to start at the Stars & Stripes Spectacular that the county puts on.
