We toured DC with Larry & Sarah the day after Thanksgiving. We drove up to Reagan Airport, parked and took the metro the rest of the way into the city. That way we were already at the airport with their luggage when they had to leave later that evening.
We toured the U.S. Capitol. Dwayne got abandoned outside because no food or drink could come in and we had a loaded backpack full.
After lunch at the Old Post Office Pavillion and a trip up in the bell tower, we went over to the mall and walked to all of the monuments and the White House.

Thanksgiving
Dwayne fried the turkey again this year. It always turns out so delicious and it keeps the oven free for casseroles, dressing, pies...etc.
We enjoyed having special additions to our regular family gathering - Larry & Sarah and Rob & Tess (along with their sweet girls) joined us for the day.
We took some family photos out in the backyard after our fine meal.

Corbin's 13th Birthday
Corbin got loaded up with grown up stuff: computer games, shotgun, bow, camo gear, books, oh, and happy feet slippers. ;)
Uncle Larry, Aunt Sarah and Garrett made it over in time to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY and partake in a doughnut tower.

Yarmulkes
Uncle Larry & Aunt Sarah took a two month tour of Ukraine, Israel, Jordan, Kurdistan, Turkey, Istanbul and other places that I have forgotten. They sent the boys yarmulkes that they got in Jerusalem.

Gina's 19th Birthday
Gina opening some of her gifts--scarf/belt thing, zebra car mats, denim skirt, Miche shell...etc.
We went bowling for the first time in ages. The real thing is much harder than the Wii version.
We ate supper at Texas Roadhouse. The waitress brought a saddle over for her to sit on while we all clapped and hollered YEEHAW! Gina was a good sport.
There was Boston creme cake at home for dessert.
