Hair Affair

I had a few ladies over to play with each other's hair and try new hairstyles.

Orchid

The orchid my friend Shelly gave me when she moved to Minnesota is finally blooming for the first time since I received it, which has been almost three years (I think). Anyway, I am EXCITED!

Glen & Tanya Came East

Uncle Glen got some snuggles from Rocky.

Cute little Emma loved Rocky too.

Aunt Tanya has amazing blue eyes.

It was good to have them around the table with us.

We missed Tess, Dwayne & Derrik, but enjoyed the time together.

Devin's New Truck

Devin is the proud owner of a 2003 Nissan Frontier.

College Visits

Dwayne & Devin went to visit the University of Richmond without me and I forgot to remind them to take pictures, so I have none. The photo above is of Devin with the Virginia Tech mascot. Below is Devin in front of the colonnade at Washington & Lee.

Now Devin is shown near the Rotunda on the grounds of the University of Virginia.

Devin's favorite of the five schools we visited was Johns Hopkins University shown below.

Root Canal

My mouth was NOT happy after my root canal experience. It is now almost two weeks later and my my jaw is still swollen & tender. I'm not looking forward to going and getting the job completed, though it will be a different doctor. Above is "day one" and below is "day two".

By "day three" the swelling was down significantly, but you can see the discoloration.

Dwayne & Darrell's Birthdays

We celebrated Dwayne & Darrell's birthdays together.

Devin made pot de creme for dessert.


They both got Kindles from their parents.

Devin made slow cooker fudge pudding cake to serve after Bible study on Dwayne's birthday.
