East Coast Trip

On Sand Point Beach in Connecticut you can walk out to the island when the tide is out. Derrik learned that you should not do it barefoot as the bar is pretty much made of sharp shells.

We had to check out the 24 hour L.L. Bean while in Portland, ME. We bought some blueberry truffles for a treat.

We went sea kayaking on a very wet and rather cold day. It was still a fun adventure. The three on the left are Derrik, Dwayne and Devin. Our guide has on the dark hat. The other two were ladies that made up the rest of our group.

Eating lobster at Thurston's in an out of the way area of Bar Harbor, ME. It was awesome! The blueberry spice cake was great too. The sun actually came out as we were finishing and we had beautiful views of the boats on the water.

We spent our last day of vacation in Gettysburg, PA with Derrik's girlfriend and family.
