Easter

The boys did a great job decorating eggs. It was a fun little project. The only problem is that I'm left to eat them all myself!

You're never too old to enjoy an Easter basket. They got chips, chocolate drizzled popcorn and cashews in addition to the more standard Easter candies.

We had a lovely dinner at Darrell & Kay's house. The kids ate at the bar because the two tables were already crowded with adults. They certainly don't mind being relegated there.

After the meal, the dads hid eggs for the kids to find. They had fun racing around trying to spy the bits of color that would give away a hiding place.

Spring

Spring has come! Everything is budded out beautifully. These are trees in our yard.

Lacrosse

Derrik plays midi, which to my understanding is short for middleman. He can cross the middle line and has to play both offense & defense. He is in the #15 jersey.
Grandpa & Grandma got the boys a rebounder for practicing lacrosse in the backyard. It gets used every day. Sometimes they even get their Dad to play and wear him out.

They are required to play two sports at their school. Each year Derrik tries new ones, trying to find something he could enjoy rather than just tolerate. The boys are both LOVING playing lacrosse.

Devin is in the #2 jersey kneeling in preparation for going on the field. He plays on the middle school team and is on the second string. He also plays midi.

Rocky

Rocky loves his John Deere tractor that Grandpa & Grandma Holladay bought him as a surprise. They set the bag down on the floor and seemed to know it was for him and stuck his nose right in it pulling out the tractor. He proudly totes it around everywhere.
