This has been a challenging Cross Country season with lots of injuries. Michael (#505 in the boys group shot above) has been the fastest this year, placing first in the most recent race. His time is not as good as last year, but he's still doing great. Devin's tendon is still recovering, so he is running at a gentler pace than last year. He has been pretty close behind Michael, though.
We hiked White Oak Canyon with the West family. I have no photos of my boy and Barry because they were too far ahead of us and came back awhile after we did.
There was a pretty large group of us at Graves Mountain this year. In addition to various Holladay family members, the Morton, West & Briggs families came. We picked our own apples this time, which was a nice change to our usual digging through the bins at the apple shed.
It was a wet day at Dartmouth, but we enjoyed our time on campus despite the mud and rain.
It was a mad dash to New England leaving on a Sunday morning and returning on a Tuesday night. We visited Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and Cornell University in New York.
