Grandpa & Grandma Wright's Visit

My parents came to visit for the first time in two years. It was great to have them. Dennis & Georgia had us all over for a delicious meal one night.

Dad enjoyed our new pool table. It took him a few attempts to get his "stroke" arm to cooperate and then he got pretty darn good.

On Memorial Day we toured the Marine Corps Museum. It is worth going to see.

Mom & I drinking our protein drinks. I tried to help Mom stay on her diet while she was here. It was a success, as she went home a pound lighter than she came and we had one trip to Carl's and two trips to Cold Stone Creamery.

Devin's 16th Birthday

Devin had two birthday dinners. One was an informal gathering of friends to play ultimate frisbee and roast hot dogs over the fire pit. The other was a scrumptious meal of shishkabobs with family followed by a berry trifle.

Devin got a kayak for his birthday. I think we managed to surprise him.

George Larsen was in DC for work and spend the weekend with us. His birthday was Friday and Devin's was Monday, so we had two birthday "boys".

George Escapes DC

George is married to my cousin and lives in Montana. He was in DC helping with the some of the BP oil spill issues. He got set free for the weekend, so came down to hang out with us. He grew up in Maryland and was friends with the Holladay kids. He enjoyed getting to see them again.

Mother's Day

Devin made a delicious fruit & yogurt parfait for breakfast. The sunflower on top was beautiful.

We went to lunch at Vita Felice and then to our house for family photos.

Margaret Ann's 64th Birthday

Grandma asked for a steak dinner and strawberry shortcake for her special birthday meal. We all enjoyed it!
