Outer Banks

 We stayed in the four wheel drive section of the Outer Banks where the wild horses live.

 The boys loved riding their skim boards. 

 This egret liked the canal behind our beach house.

 Mom & I climbed the Corolla Lighthouse.

It was a hot week, which is great at the beach but makes it hard to eat ice cream fast enough to not make a mess.

 Brandy found a horseshoe crab skeleton.

 Whose foot is whose?  Any guesses?

 Dwayne & Dad had fun flying stunt kites.

 Benny & Ruth had a funny incident on their way to see us.  Glad they finally made it!

Father's Day

 The boys fixed breakfast and served it up on the patio.

 Darrell & Farley got kayaks for Father's Day, which we delivered to them using Dwayne's Father's Day gift of a dual kayak carrier.

 Of course, the kayaks had to get broken in and tested.

 We brought KFC to enjoy on the front lawn at Farley & Margaret Ann's. 

Graduation Party

 We got the guys to cut up the watermelon shortly before party time. 

 Devin beside his "brag" table.

 All Holladay functions require a contact sport and football is one of Devin's favorites.

 We had pork barbecue, coleslaw, watermelon,chips, green beans, beverages & cakes.

 We did a joint party with Chad Chenault who was a home school graduate. 

Devin had lots of cards to read and dollars to deposit when he got home.  It was a great boost to his college fund that will get depleted all too quickly.
