It's hard to believe it's been over two years since we got to see, hear or touch her. It's therapeutic for me to visit her gravesite regularly. Various ones bring new flower arrangements and wreaths; we do too.
The tears still come and the sorrow is still strong, but we're functional and moving forward.

Hi Carla and family, I checked your blog some time ago, but didn't post a comment. I want you to know that I miss Carie very much, too. I think of her often. Your new family photos are great...maybe I will learn how to set up a blog. I like the one about Derrick driving. Marci has her permit and is driving around the neighbood and other subdivisions. Hasn't done any "heavy traffic" yet. She and I went to NYC for her 16th birthday. We were both on the TODAY show.
