Veronica Visits Downtown Fredericksburg

This is the home of Mary Washington , the mother of George. She resided here in her latter years and it's also where she died. I literally work right across the street from this historic building, so after the tour we used the restrooms at my office and raided drinks from the refrigerator.

We had lunch aboard the "City of Fredericksburg" paddlewheel boat as it cruised the Rappahannock River.
The tour of the Rising Sun Tavern gives you insight into being a traveler during the colonial era. It's rather interesting!
